The highly anticipated clash of the titans at the top of the McDonald’s Worcester & District Football League Sunday Premier Division, saw reigning champions Callow End thrash current leaders Hallow 9-1. Ash Millard, Rob Sinclair and Nick Macpherson all bagged a brace for Callow End who are now four points behind Hallow with three games in hand. Hallow’s cause was not helped by Ben Harbourne, Zaq Hussain and Kyle Belmonte all seeing red, along with manager Richard Bray, during a tempestuous second half. In the other match played, New Inn Athletic beat Drakes Broughton Rangers 2-1. 

Clifton Rovers moved a step nearer the Division One title with a narrow 3-2 win at closest challengers Prince of Wales. Josh Stafford, Richard Tipping and match winner Mike Fellows were on target for Clifton, Sam Parsons and Casey Gormley replying for Prince of Wales. Clifton are now five points behind the Prince, but have four games in hand. 

In Division 2, Star & Garter won 3-2 at Worcester City Wanderers, Andy Jones, Chris Wickham and Dan Hearne their scorers. Elsewhere Northwick Saints had a 2-1 victory at Kempsey Colts United with goals from Cori Wrench and Graeme Morgan. 

Freemasons Arms had a 4-1 success at GDL Athletic in Division 3, Jay Webley, Justin Pugh, Russ Carlin and Mitchell Parrish all on the score sheet. 

Leaders Colwall Wanderers are the hot favourites for the Division 4 crown after a 6-0 demolition of Eaton Reserves, Lewis Williams and Ben Miller both netting twice. Worcester Saints occupy second place, Ollie Kendall cracking a hat-trick as they beat Sebright Arms 4-1. Saints are three points behind Colwall but have played a game more. In other matches played in this division, Matt Brain hit a hat-trick for Lower Teme & Martley Reserves who beat Spa Rovers 4-3. Strikes from Dave Jones and Jordan Roan gave New Inn Sports (Malvern) a 2-1 home win against Drakes Broughton Rangers Reserves. 

Pershore Town Eagles are through to the final of the Kilbourne Kay Cup final, knocking out AFC Mazak 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw. Eagles will meet Malvern Vale in the final on 2 May. 

Express Falcons waltzed into the Bernard Finnegan Cup final, hammering Droitwich Spa Eagles Reserves 6-0 in their semi-final, Brad Morton and Josh Beckett netting doubles. Perdiswell Colts will be their opponents in the final on 29 April. 

Grosvenor Sports will play Sebright Arms in the Phipps Cup final on 6 May, securing their place with a 2-0 win against Malvern Radar Youth, Garry Fisher and Dan Mimnagh their scorers. 

The quarter-finals of the Vaughn Albone Memorial Plate competition saw Arrow go through 4-1 at Worcester Athletic with goals from Josh Homans (2), Garry Jones and Luke Seldon. Joe Southam notched a double as The Bell won 4-1 at Eaton and strikes from Jai Baines and Ahmed Nasser gave Colwall St James a 2-1 extra-time victory over Fernhill Heath Athletic. Completing the semi-final line-up are Malvern Vale who beat Hallow Village 4-0, Joe Dallow, Chris Parker, Steve Nolan and Curt Williams all on target.
